Health Services

The school provides emergency and preventive health services to the school community through the assistance of two nurses and a Health Services Coordinator who is a Medical Doctor on campus. It is each parent’s responsibility to submit an up to date Health Form to the Nurse’s office at the beginning of each year and to inform the nurse of any changes during the year. The school nurse will not administer any medicine to students without written authorization and instructions from parents.

In case of an illness or injury, the school nurse will call parents or an emergency contact, inform them of their child’s situation, and may ask the parents to pick up the student at school. If the situation calls for it, the school will arrange for transportation to the nearest hospital.

In order to maintain a healthy environment for our school community parents are requested not to send students to school when they have a contagious illness.
