Ms. Carolina Leal is an invaluable member of our school community. She has dedicated her career to psychology and education for 26 years, the past 18 at St. Augustine, where she supports our students’ socioemotional wellbeing and character growth.

Ms. Carolina is committed to lifelong learning, a firm believer in research-based methods and is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Psychology. She holds numerous post graduate degrees in Positive Psychology, Positive Discipline, and Marriage and Family therapy. She is also a great chef and mentor to our high school cooking club, Bon Appetit.

With 12 years at St. Augustine, our Learning Support Counselor, Ms. Adriana Callejas collaborates closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists in developing individualized learning plans. She is dedicated to building a supportive learning enviroment in which all students can achieve academic growth and success.

Ms. Adriana is deeply committed to our school community and its values. In addition to her role as Learning Support Counselor, she is a ninth-grade student advisor and a mentor for two student clubs, Alma Sonríe and CKLA Connections.

Ms. María Auxiliadora, our Middle School Counselor, is committed to fostering students’ self-efficacy by providing practical tools to foster healthy routines, study habits, and school-life balance. She collaborates closely with parents to strengthen the home-school partnership ensuring that every student receives the guidance and care they need during these formative years.

With over a decade of experience as a psychologist and school counselor, Ms. Auxiliadora brings a wealth of knowledge for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth. She will also be a resource for parents, offering guidance and support as we work together to ensure student success.

Our devoted school counselor, Ms. Belinda, has been a valued member of the St. Augustine community for nine years. She builds strong relationships with students prioritizing their mental health and well-being.

Ms. Belinda’s expertise is evident in her leadership of the Secondary School Advisory Program, where students build lasting positive connections with peers and advisors. She is also passionate about the power of music in fostering student engagement and expression, and because of this she leads and organizes the annual Finn Fest, a beloved campus tradition that celebrates student and staff creativity.

With 14 years at our school, our dedicated college counselor, Ms. Ana Patricia Ferrey, expertly guides students through the college application process. In addition to her degrees, she has completed extensive coursework in school counseling. Ms. Ana Patricia is a member of the International Association for College Admission Counseling.

Her rich blend of academic knowledge and professional experience equips her to offer support tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring that every student feels confident and prepared as they embark on their journey to higher education.

We are thrilled to welcome back Mrs. Lilia Montealegre as our Assistant College Counselor. Her academic background and extensive experience will be a valuable asset in guiding our students towards their higher education goals. Ms. Lilia is a member of the International Association for College Admission Counseling.

She first became a part of the St. Augustine community in 2013. Her diverse educational journey and over a decade of experience inside and outside of the classroom make her well-equipped to support student success. She is eager to begin this new chapter with our team.
